Our program could not exist without an amazing roster of volunteers who help with a wide range of services for the program and artisans. We need help with product development, staffing sales events, administrative tasks, and other behind-the-scenes fun. We will be hosting a Sales Training Event Sat 9/6 11:30am-1:30pm for current and new volunteers to help everyone understand how to make an event a success. We will include our artisans in the training, and host a mock event where we set up product with test customers! The event will be at our studio:

Tacos and Empowering Women?? We think this is a great combo! Join us at Cuchara for First Tuesday Taco Night and a shopping event for the Community Cloth! The bar area at Cuchara will be reserved just for us and we will have lots of products for you to browse. Bring your friends and find out more ways you can get involved with The Cloth and enjoy some of the tastiest tacos in Houston.
Every first Tuesday of the month, Cuchara serves 20 tacos and 4 oz. pours of beers and micheladas for $2 each.

We will celebrate refugees’ unrelenting perseverance and positivity on World Refugee Day, Saturday June 21, 2014 at the Raindrop Foundation Turkish House from 3:00-7:00pm. The day will be filled with cultural entertainment, children’s activities, and educational exhibits. Bring the whole family to this free, fun, and educational event!
