Get to Know Us
The Community Cloth targets the economic, educational and social goals of participating refugee artisan women through the provision of seed grants, training, peer support, and by expanding market opportunities. With The Community Cloth, these refugee women artisans are able to find an outlet for their already existing skills. These women are talented weavers, knitters, sewers and jewelry makers. Through this program, they can take advantage of their natural talents to produce high quality handmade indigenous arts and crafts for much needed supplemental income. All of the proceeds generated by the project are returned directly to the participating artisans. These videos show an up-close look at our program and the artisans we work with. Enjoy!
